Every flag is a name. The field begins in darkness — because that is the truth of Juneteenth. Freedom was real long before the news arrived. On June 19, 1865, the word finally reached Galveston, and the people knew.
We reenact that moment. The flags are planted in darkness. During the Gathering Ground Ceremony, the light is carried in — name by name, the field comes alive.
Honor an ancestor. An elder. A loved one. Anyone whose name deserves to stand in the light.
Flag orders close June 15. The light reached us late. It must never reach our children late again.

Collection Details
Flags are collected at the Gathering Ground Ceremony by 9:30 PM on June 20. Flags not collected by 9:30 PM become a donation to the NAACP Pulaski County Branch and cannot be held, reserved, or picked up later. All sales final.
